All Illegal-Immigration Activists:

All Illegal-Immigration Activists:

The Archdiocese Offices of Hispanic Ministries, Catholic Social Action and Su
Casa Hispanic Center are sponsoring a rally inside the Hartwell Country Club, on
Saturday, January 16, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM. Their purpose is to promote the new
Immigration Reform bill (HR-4321), which grants Amnesty, among many other
benefits for illegal aliens.

The “South West Ohio Patriots” plan to counter this rally with our own rally
opposing the new Immigration bill. We will do this by displaying our signs along
the street as the attendees drive to the entrance to the Country Club. We invite
you to join us to display your opposition to a very bad bill. In summary: It
grants Amnesty to all “undocumented immigrates” currently in the USA; Outlaws
all State and local legislation that opposes illegal immigration; Eliminates the
job-verification program “E-Verify”, and increases the importation of foreign
workers (When there are 16 million Americans looking for work!). It’s an illegal
immigrant’s dream!

Join us at the rally site at 1:15 PM Saturday. Bring your sign and/or flag to
show our opposition to this congressional bill! We will demonstrate until 2:30
PM. You may wish to remain and display your opposition to those as they leave
the Country Club rally at 3:30, as many of us plan to do that.

Directions: (Travel I-75 interstate and exit at the Galbriath Rd (West); go
about ½ mile to Vine St./ Route 4 intersection and go South (Note the sign “Go
thru the intersection and circle around to go South on Vine”). Go South on Vine
St. approx. ½ mile to the traffic light at Caldwell St.; turn right onto
Caldwell and within 500 feet you’ll see the entrance sign to the “Hartwell
Center”) You’re there!

We hope to see you Saturday!

(FOX 19) --The rally was met by protesters, but there is one thing both sides agree on, that something has to give and the system is broken.

"A legal pathway to citizenship because the current standard and the way we've been handling immigration is not working," Jason Riverio says.

Riverio believes now that Congress is finished talking about health care reform, top priority should be the next big debate on Capitol Hill.

He was one of hundreds gathered Saturday at Hartwell Country Club to show their support for an immigration reform bill, HR 4321.

Outside the event there's a counter rally opposing guest-worker visas and citizenship for undocumented workers.

"With the idea of amnesty being granted to maybe as many as 12 million or more illegal aliens in the country just doesn't make sense," Dick Hohn says.

He says it doesn't make sense to great citizenship to people in the country illegally because 10-percent of Americans don't have a job. He believes that move would saturate the workforce.

Hohn goes onto say, "It is important that we get the message out that there is another side of compassion and that is compassion for the unemployed.
